This is a great Halloween read! Kit goes to live with her aunt and uncle in a puritan town and struggles to fit in. Raised in Barbados, she finds the Connecticut community prejudice and uptight. Trouble arises when she befriends the outcast of the town. This is one of my all-time favorites!
