If I Should Die/Lost December

If I Should Die by Jennie Hansen is about a girl that goes missing and her jogging partner searches for answers.  The story is very chilling, which makes it somewhat of a page turner--however, it's not the best written book.  The love story was a little unbelievable and I found myself frustrated with the main character.

Lost December is a Richard Paul Evans book (I don't love him but I thought I'd give him another chance).  It's a modern-day prodigal son story that's pretty predictable. The inside flap pretty much tells you the whole story.  I actually didn't mind the first half of the story--but the second half was a little unbelievable and made me realize once again why I'm not a fan of Richard Paul Evans. However, I have a friend who loved it.  Maybe you'll like it better than I did.
