Criss Cross vs. When You Reach Me

Criss Cross had some great parts and I enjoyed some of the writing style.  However, I felt like the ending was disappointing.  I also didn't appreciate the swearing (especially considering it's a children's book).  If you're looking for a similiar type book (thinker, unpredictable, funny), I would recommend, When You Reach Me.  These two stories reminded me of each other but I thought that, When You Reach Me had a much better ending.  Try both and let me know what you think.
